Berlin, March 23rd, 2010: nugg.ad AG, Europe's largest targeting platform, has named Richard Hutton as its CTO (Chief Technical Officer). Hutton has been software director with responsibility for structural and product development at nugg.ad Predictive Behavioural Targeting since 2006. During this period he made nugg.ad one of the most innovative companies in the targeting industry, thanks to the development of real-time targeting and technologies for performance and branding campaigns in compliance with existing data protection criteria. In the newly created position of CTO, he will report directly to the management board.

As part of his work, Hutton, born in London in 1973, always has his finger on the pulse of new technologies and possibilities. This led him, for example, to create free capacities despite constantly growing computing processes and data amounts, by using the open source framework Hadoop. The team of developers, which will be lead by Hutton, is currently being expanded.

Before working for nugg.ad, Hutton was senior real time systems designer for the leading microchip manufacturer Texas Instruments R&D. His CV also comprises relevant positions in international companies such as Sony Networks and Virgin One Account.
