nugg.ad is bound not only by the dictates of German and European data protection legislation but also, above and beyond this, by users' perceptions of data protection – no ifs, ands, or buts. We are committed to firm adherence to these guidelines and continue to work to develop them. We are willing to accept and absorb additional costs involved in safeguarding our own products.

nugg.ad works with cookies. Naturally, we don’t use spyware or adware, no spam and no viruses. As we do not record personal data in the first place, such as a user's name, address, telephone number or e-mail address, we cannot pass these on, either to parties with a commercial interest, or to the public authorities.

Special steps are taken in the nugg.ad system to ensure that no information is processed which could be linked to any particular individual. More specifically, an anonymisation service, operated by an independent third party, is used to ensure that no user IP addresses make their way into the nugg.ad system. We have entered into contractual arrangements to ensure that special steps are taken to make it impossible for nugg.ad employees to bypass this anonymisation protection.
